“Forgive anyone who caused you pain or harm. Keep in mind that forgiving is not for others. It is for you. Forgiving is not forgetting. It is remembering without anger. It frees up your power, heals your body, mind and spirit. Forgiveness opens up a pathway to a new place of peace where you can persist despite what has happened to you.”
Les Brown
I had a dream last night and I woke up with forgiveness on my heart. See, healing is taking responsibility for yourself. Forgive yourself – show yourself compassion. What you know and understand now, you didn’t know before… that’s why it’s a lesson. You did the best you could at the time. You are NOT in that same place/space! Let go of regrets and the should’ve/could’ve/would haves. Accept your decisions. Come back to the present moment. Breathe. Be in the here and now. Be grateful for the growth. Thank you! Don’t hold onto anger, sadness, resentment, confusion, hurt and negativity. You are only losing precious moments of YOUR life. Not everyone or everything is meant to stay in your life. Things and people come and go. Allow this change to flow in and out of your life with ease. Remind yourself that everything is temporary, including the difficulties and low vibrational feelings. Rise above it! Close your eyes. Hug yourself! Squeeze yourself! Love on your Self! Fill your heart with the warmth you desire. Today, do it for yourself! Other people and old situations are not a reflection of your worth. You are enough! You have enough! Allow people to take their journey and go through their life cycles – and you continue yours. It’s all good.
What choices will you make on this very day in order to move forward with more knowledge, happiness and gratitude?
