AN EMPOWERED LIFESTYLE
Redefining Yourself for Your Self
An Intimate Ascension is an intentional commitment to a transformative, healing journey to realign with and consciously express your most genuine Self.
Throughout this lifetime, things can seem misaligned for a variety, (usually complex combinations), of reasons – generational trauma, change of all kinds, existing in survival mode, being bullied, disappointment, expectations placed on you, feeling “different,” losing someone you love, and more. All of these experiences tell you something particular about who you are and the life you are destined to live. But, is it all true?
It is never too late to reset, rediscover, reconnect with and reveal who you truly are; and, share your light!
It is important for you to believe that you deserve: joy, inner peace, grace, compassion, abundance, love, respect; to be recognized and honored for your full humanity – to be heard, to thrive, and to have a sense of belonging.
This journey, too, will repeatedly challenge you. It will require a mindful refocusing of how you manage your time, energy and emotions, but it can be some of the most rewarding work you do…

The Liberation Psychology Framework:
Promoting Critical Consciousness
This approach links the psychological patterns and experiences within the context of social conditions, which goes beyond the traditional Western therapeutic methods of addressing trauma and well-being. It conceptually and practically looks at oppressive sociopolitical structures in which the individual exists, and champions interdependence. The focus shifts from mere awareness, to action and practice in order to sustain long-lasting change that facilitates self-respect and honorable relationships. It challenges dominant hierarchies of power and allows for alternatives to be imagined and fulfilled. Liberation Psychology draws from sociology, liberation theology, feminist/womanist theories and decolonial thought, while typically employing psychodynamic, solution-focused and narrative-based techniques.
